Old leaks were repaired and the pool was replastered and repainted.

The City pool received some much needed renovation this summer.  City crews toiled for many hours to remove twenty eight years of accumulated paint and plaster.  Old leaks were repaired and the pool was replastered and repainted in time to open for the summer season.  Houston's pool was built in 1973.  This summer's heat and humidity  have made the pool a popular escape.

Pool hours are Monday  through Sunday, one to six p.m.  The pool will remain open through Labor Day.
