New asphalt for Forrest, Pine, Ozark and Bryan streets.

New asphalt is scheduled to be layed this fall on the following streets.  Forrest Drive, Bryan street from highway 17 to Ozark, Pine street from First to Ozark and Ozark street from Pine to Hamrick.  Houston schools will participate in the project and renew the pavement for the parking areas along Ozark street.  The parking lots at Emmett Kelly  park and the City pool are also scheduled to be resurfaced.  New sidewalk is scheduled to be installed along highway 17 from Augusta to Hamrick street.  These improvements are made possible through the collection of local sales taxes.  When you shop locally you not only help your local merchants, you help your community .
