In an emergency every second counts. That's why public safety officials are urging everyone to make sure that their house number is clearly visible from the street. Houston Police Chief Joe Kirkman says; "visible house numbers can save critical time in an emergency in assisting public safety and emergency medical personnel with locating you when you need assistance".
The City of Houston welcomes it's newest Police Officer, Robert Currier Jr. Robert fills a vacancy created when Sgt. Darrell Jones left to join the West Plains Police Department. Robert comes to the City of Houston with over 30 years of law enforcement experience. He served 27 years with the Missouri Highway Patrol and 3 years with the Texas County Sheriff's Office.
