Delapidated and unkept buildings present a number of serious problems. Not only are they a continued source of irritation for neighbors but can also negatively effect property values in the neighborhood and throughout the community. They are a convenient breeding ground for pests and present serious safety concerns for fires and injuries to children. The City is taking steps to identify and deal with these dangerous structures. The City intends to aggressively enforce codes dealing with all types of property maintenance. A clean and safe community is everyone's concern. The City asks for the cooperation of all property owners in this effort.
